Community of Mountain House

Mountain House is a new community in San Joaquin County.  A transportation infrastructure plan was required prior to the start of construction.  This 4,800-acre development will eventually be home to more than 44,000 residents.  Offices, retail spaces, parks, and schools are also planned.

For several dozen intersections within the Community, TJKM is preparing plans for the street geometry including traffic control signs and traffic signals. For the major freeway interchange of I-580 and Mountain House Parkway, TJKM conducted the traffic analysis prior to the design of the interchange where the construction will be completed in 2006.

TJKM is an on-call consultant to the Mountain House Community Services District. TJKM completed the first study in Mountain House in the early 1990s and have now completed dozens of traffic studies and design projects within the area.
