TJKM Selected to Conduct a Corridor Study of SR 53 in Lake County, California
The Lake County/City Area Planning Council (APC) selected TJKM to conduct a critical SR 53 Corridor study, as SR 53 is poised to become part of the future interregional traffic route between I-5 and US 101 in the SR 20 corridor. TJKM’s study approach includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
• Organization and statement of the overall project goals/objectives
• Establishment of evaluation criteria by type of facility and mode, including non-quantifiable criteria; data collection
• Identify current deficiencies
• Generate forecasts of future traffic volumes and corridor characteristics
• Application of evaluation criteria to identify future deficiencies by time period
• Development, evaluation and selection of preferred improvement alternatives
• Cash flow and financial analysis, including benefits and costs
• Report study findings and recommendations for inclusion of improvements in the Capital Improvement Program.
