TJKM has designed over 2,000 traffic signals throughout California. All of our signal services are provided in-house from beginning to end with a full team of designers and engineers who have the necessary field and hands-on experience for practical designs. TJKM regularly provides agencies with assistance related to coordinated timing for arterials or large systems, and for single, isolated intersections using Synchro, PASSER and TRANSYT software. Our experience includes systems ranging from two signals to over 50 in three systems (closed-loop, distributed). We work with cities, counties and Caltrans on projects throughout California. Several of our senior level engineers teach beginning and advanced signal timing and operations courses for the UC Berkeley Extension program.
